Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 lb butter
- 2 teaspoons cloves
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 heat first 8 ingredients on stove until sugar is not grainy, do not boil.
- 2 place mixture into a large bowl and beat in the soda and flour.
- 3 chill over night.
- 4 roll out and cut out gingerbread cut outs.
- 5 bake at 350 degrees. 10-12 minutes.
