Gingerbread

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 teaspoons cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 heat first 8 ingredients on stove until sugar is not grainy, do not boil.
  • 2 place mixture into a large bowl and beat in the soda and flour.
  • 3 chill over night.
  • 4 roll out and cut out gingerbread cut outs.
  • 5 bake at 350 degrees. 10-12 minutes.
