Mincemeat Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 3 cups unsifted flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 (9 ounce) package none such condensed mincemeat, crumbled

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
• 2 in large bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy.
• 3 add eggs; beat well.
• 4 stir together dry ingredients; gradually ad to shortening mixture.
• 5 mix well.
• 6 stir in mincemeat.
• 7 drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets.
• 8 bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. cool.
• 9 frost if desired.
