Ingredients
- 1/2 cup light margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 1. beat margarine for 30 seconds, then add sugar, baking soda, and cream of tartar. beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. beat in the egg whites and vanilla, until combined. beat in flour and chill, covered in freezer for 20 minutes.
- 2 2. combine the 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, shape dough into 1-inch balls, and roll into the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated. place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. bake at 375 degrees for about 9 minutes, or until the edges are lightly tanned.
