Lemon Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 3 cups flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• sugar

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar.
• 2 add sour cream; blend well.
• 3 add vanilla and lemon juice or extract.
• 4 add dry ingredients.
• 5 chill 3 to 4 hours.
• 6 when ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
• 7 grease cookie sheets.
• 8 shape dough into small balls and roll in extra sugar.
• 9 flatten balls using the bottom of a glass after arranging on cookie sheets.
• 10 bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
