Gumdrop Cookies With Orange Icing

Ingredients

• 4 large eggs, well beaten
• 2 cups packed brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon water
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup gumdrop, chopped
• 1 cup nuts, chopped
• 3 tablespoons butter, melted
• 2 tablespoons orange juice
• 1 tablespoon orange rind
• powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 combine eggs, brown sugar and water in a large bowl and beat well.
• 2 add remaining cookie ingredients and mix well.
• 3 spread the mixture onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
• 4 bake at 300° for 25 minutes.
• 5 prepare icing ingredients and add sufficient powdered sugar for spreading consistency.
