Peppermint Bark Brownies

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 20 ounces fudge brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups candy canes, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 prepare and bake brownie mix according to the package directions, using a greased 9x13 baking pan.
  • 2 after baking, set aside and cool for 1-2 hours.
  • 3 in a heavy saucepan over very low heat, melt chocolate chips and margarine, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula.
  • 4 spread chocolate mixture over the brownies and sprinkle with crushed candy.
