Ingredients
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 125 g caster sugar
- 125 g plain flour, sifted
- 100 g rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1 teaspoon golden syrup
Recipe
- 1 heat the oven to 150 c (300f ), gas mark 2
- 2 cream butter and sugar together, then add the milk, soda and syrup.
- 3 stir in the flour and oats and mix well.
- 4 roll the dough into 24 small balls and place evenly apart on lightly greased baking sheets.
- 5 bake for 25 mins until golden brown.
- 6 cool on a wire rack.
