Gingersnap Bars

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons light molasses
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove

Recipe

  • 1 blend together ingredients until dough forms.
  • 2 press into bottom of greased 9x13" pan.
  • 3 brush with water.
  • 4 sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  • 5 bake at 350° f for 20-30 minutes.
  • 6 cool and cut into squares.
