Gingersnap Bars

Ingredients
- Servings: 24
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons light molasses
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon clove
Recipe
- 1 blend together ingredients until dough forms.
- 2 press into bottom of greased 9x13" pan.
- 3 brush with water.
- 4 sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- 5 bake at 350° f for 20-30 minutes.
- 6 cool and cut into squares.
